Today is my oldest son Bobby’s 32nd birthday. He has the night off, so we’re taking him out to dinner at the restaurant where he works (his choice!) he even made the reservations himself! He said he was happy to have gotten a booth, to which I immediately laughingly asked, “A booth in the back, in the corner in the dark?”
Anyone born before 1965 will probably get the reference, but I’m a larnin’ that these here young’uns, these dad gum whippersnappers, don’t have a full appreciation for the excellent television programming from the late sixties, early seventies. Where the heck do they think tag lines come from anyway?
