Dark Fudge Greek Frozen Yogurt

Dark Fudge Greek Frozen Yogurt

Maybe it’s because I truly love the mouth feel of a good creamy greek yogurt…

Maybe it’s because I haven’t had any dairy for a month or so…

Maybe it’s because it was a warm evening, and I’d been wishing for ice cream all day…

Whatever the reason, my first bite of Healthy Choice Greek Frozen Yogurt was a little piece of heaven! I chose the Dark Fudge Swirl flavor because… well, because dark fudge of course!

I was a little disappointed by the look when I first opened the container, because when the title starts out with Dark Fudge, you don’t expect vanilla, with three tiny lines of visible chocolate.  But once I tasted the big rich fudgy flavor in my first spoonful, I was instantly a fan.

This fluffy, yet dense dessert is silky smooth, with a creamy texture that belies it’s tiny 100 calories.  I thought I’d want more than the 3.8 ounces, but honestly, I was satisfied by the time I scraped and licked the last remaining droplets from the cup. In case you have a bigger appetite, be comforted that they come packaged three to a box.

If I wasn’t trying to cut cow’s milk out of my diet, I would absolutely buy more of these decadent little treats.  I wonder if theres any chance they can make one using goat’s milk? But don’t take my word for it, here’s  an online Coupon for $1 off Greek Frozen Yogurt: http://bit.ly/14MKQ5O.  I had a little trouble finding it in the grocery store, since it’s not in the yogurt section, nor is it in the ice cream/frozen yogurt section.  Here’s a hint – it’s in the frozen dinner section right next to the other Healthy Choice meals.
