OK, I took February “off” so to speak. Had some cocktails, ate a lot of pizza, and some burgers, gained back only a couple of pounds. Had a relapse of knee pain so I also have not done the treadmill since the end of January either.
I’m back on the wagon now. Different focus though. Watching what I’m eating, but staying off the cocktails. My doctor has prescribed a muscle relaxer and in only the two days I’ve been taking it, it seems to be having a great effect. I’m going to schedule a massage this weekend and see if that works.
Quick shout out to Susan from a Slice of Life for reminding me that people do stop by occasionally. I promise, more later – but now, I have some serious homework to do!

I’m sorry to hear about the knee pain. I’ve been limping along with foot pain and I know how much pain eats into life/plans.

Hang in there, you can do it! (I don’t know why your traffic feed is saying I’m from Lompoc. Egad! )

Aren’t you done with your homework yet??? :)
I’ve had a lot of knee trouble as well. I’ve learned that I can’t really do the treadmill at all. So I still to the elliptical or the bike. The bike actually seems to make it feel better. I also started wearing a knee/tendon strap that my PT recommended. Obviously I don’t know what’s going on with your knee, but that’s what seems to be helping me. Pain sucks.

Oh, man. Knees are one of those things you don’t miss until they aren’t working and then EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE! I hope you are on the mend and that things are looking up!
